Another film debut Mega Hero Varun Tej "Mukunda" is all set to rock the silver screens worldwide on 24th of this month (December 24, 2014). The film has already completed censor formalities and received "T / A" certificate from the censor board. Pooja Hegde Oka Laila Kosam fame is playing the female lead opposite Varun Tej in the film. Ramesh Rao, Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam make other prominent roles in the film. Tagore Madhu is producing Mukunda in Leo Productions banner.

Mukunda is the first film of Mega Hero Varun Tej in Tollywood and he is said to be the first handsome hero in Mega family.

Director Sekhar Kammula has done a cameo. Another rumor is that Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a special role in the film, if this news is true, then it will be an important asset for the film.

The music of the film already has the good response from the audience. Mickey J Mayer scored the music.

Mukunda directed by Srkanth Addala and his previous films Kotha Bangaru lokam and Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu Seethammma hit movies at the box office.
