Nikhil and starring Swathi, 'Karthikeya', which was released recently opened to positive reviews and has been running successfully with positive talk. 

The film has been declared a success and now some Tamil and Kannada filmmakers have eyed this project. The buzz is that the filmnagar fame Jeeva 'Rangam' will be performing in the lead role in the remake of the Tamil film. Sources say RBChowdary has already bought the rights to remake the film.
