Yesteryear popular and glamorous heroine rambha is in legal tangle with Dowry Harassment Case registered against her in Banjara Hills Police Station. As per media reports Pallavi, sister-in-law to rambha is the one who registered the complaint. Pallavi is wife of rambha’s brother Srinivas. They both were happily married in 2009 and had two kids living in Chennai. 

Due to continuous flops in rambha’s film career and loss of huge amount on production, they were in financial pressure and used to harass Pallavi for extra dowry. This resulted in Pallavi to run away from home. There was active involvement oframbha, her mother, father and brother Srinivas Murthy in these harassments. Case is booked under IPC Section 498 A and speculations are strong about entire family might get imprisonment of three years if allegations are proved right. Currentlyrambha is in Dubai with her husband and police are trying to get in touch with her.
