Mumbai: first Disneyland in India is likely to come in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, sources said. Disneyland and Universal Studios are one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world and have chosen to venture Vizag in the industry of theme parks in India
The project is still in the proposal stage and aims to reposition cyclone-hit tour Vizag capital.
The project is also attracting attention because of the huge investments that will come knocking on the door of Andhra Pradesh, after approval.
Disneyland would need about 2,000 acres of land to build the theme park. However, the government headed by Chandrababu Naidu has yet been closing.
Interestingly, during his previous tenure as CM, was Naidu who encouraged foreign investment in the state and opened the floodgates for IT companies worldwide, including Microsoft to strengthen its operations in Hyderabad.
