Hyderabad: Minister for Information Technology and panchayat raj KT Rama Rao said that the Congress leaders were playing dramas over farmer suicides, the energy crisis in Telangana and other issues. Mr. Rama Rao blamed Congress of suicides by farmers, the energy crisis and other ills afflicting the state.
Launching a scathing attack against the former Union Minister S. Jaipal Reddy for his criticism of the government and TRS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Mr Rama Rao said why the former minister of the Union could not provide gas to power plants in the state.
"Mr. Jaipal Reddy said the Telangana government lacked foresight. Why do not guarantee the supply of gas to energy projects as oil minister of the Union? If I had foresight, would have been rejected by the electorate Mahbubnagar" said.
He also criticized President Ponnala Lakshmaiah TPCC, former Minister DK Aruna and other leaders to not cross the line Andhra Pradesh and ignoring the interests of Telangana when they were in power.
In an open letter to congressional leaders, Mr. Rama Rao blamed Congress for neglecting Telangana during his long tenure including the 10-year rule of YSR.
"It's disgusting to hear congressional leaders of farmer suicides speak. It's like a murderer holding a meeting sympathy. What could be worse than this? No DK Aruna who welcomed the harathi leading to the opening of the illegal project Handri Niva "he asked? Mr. Rama Rao.
Do not turn a blind eye when the Congress government raised the level of withdrawal in Srisailam? "He asked.
Mr. Rama Rao said the Congress had ruled the state for 40 years and has ignored its energy needs now blames the four-month-old government TRS shortages.
He said congressional leaders to talk to farmers and the energy crisis was like Veerappan for protection of sandalwood trees.
Describing congressional leaders as traitors for being silent on the AP government illegally drawing of water and the power of Telangana, Mr. Rama Rao said the TRS government unlike other governments had sincerely accepted the shortage energy and announced a roadmap for the creation of new power units.
"We have started fulfilling our promises and fulfill them. The opposition should extend support to the government so that we can help farmers or otherwise people give them a lesson," he said.
