New Delhi: Congress BJP on Saturday challenged the Delhi Assembly to dissolve if they are so sure of the "wave Modi 'in the city that has been attributed to ABVP clean sweep in the elections of the Student Union of Delhi University.

"If BJP is so confident Modi wave in the nation's capital, the saffron party then you must immediately demand the dissolution of the Assembly and face the elections," said Mukesh Sharma DPCC chief spokesman.

After a lapse of 18 years, student wing Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi BJP today swept Parishad 'union elections, defeating Congress' NSUI Delhi University students to bag the four positions and the triumph of "wave Modi" is credited. Congress, however, said that the BJP should not be attributed to the electoral victory Dusu "Modi Wave".

"No Wave Modi in town. BJP should not be happy about defeating NSUI, a student organization. This election can not be seen as a political defeat or political victory. They (ABVP) won the elections because to spreading misinformation about FYUP and other issues, "Sharma said.

The Congress leader also said the NSUI presidential candidate lost the election by just 900 votes, which is not a big margin. In Dusu election, ABVP won the positions of president, vice president, secretary and assistant secretary by comfortable margins, even better than last year, when he lost one seat to the National Union of Students' in India (NSUI ).

BJP is apparently not in favor of new elections in the capital and has not revealed his stance on government formation. On September 8, the Party had accused Aam Aadmi Delhi BJP vice president of offering bribe to a legislator's party switch sides in the context of government formation moves in the capital.
