Deputy CLP leader in telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Monday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao tender an unconditional apology to farmers for the lathicharge at NH 44 near Narsingi of Medak district.

Speaking to media persons here, Shabbir Ali said that the brutal police lathicharge on farmers in the Chief Minister's native district was highly condemnable. He said that the TRS Government was showing its true colours and has been trying to suppress agitation against its failures using power. He asked KCR to conduct a meeting with the representatives of farmers' associations, opposition parties and other stake holders to find an immediate solution to the problems being faced by the farmers across telangana.

Shabbir Ali also demanded action against the police personnel responsible for the lathicharge on farmers.

Reacting to the Supreme Court's interim direction on EAMCET counselling, Shabbir Ali asked the telangana Government to implement the order to save the academic year of students. He said that the government should have an adamant attitude on issues related to the lives of innocent students.
