A student grade, she was with her partner in a place away from the outer ring road, was raped in Hayathnagar, police said Wednesday.

The native village Peddamberpet girl had gone to an abandoned structure with his friend, also an engineering student, on the afternoon of Monday, when two people from the same area of the plague. The two men, who were reportedly drunk, beat youth and took him away.

Then they raped the girl and threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter to anyone. Knowing about the incident from others and based on the clues given by the victim, the researchers reduced suspects and late evening the two accused, which proved drivers were collected.
