Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Saturday announced that his government intended to install the statues of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao and other freedom fighters of Telangana as Komaram Bheem, Chakali Ikamma and Doddi Koaraiah in the new capital the AP.
He made this announcement after the approval of the hunger strike undertaken by Telangana TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu.
Chandrababu said then that the basis for the Shamshabad airport was laid by his party and the party itself in 2009 had made a promise before the election of the assembly to name the airport after late NT Rama Rao.
TRS questioned not raise an objection on the issue at the same time.
