The news is doing rounds that comedy actor Ali is interested in contesting the elections for TDP. It is said that he has sent a message to TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu through TDP Rajya Sabha member Sujana Chowdary that he wants to contest in the coming elections from East Guntur constituency. There is a possibility that Ali will be given this ticket as there are a lot of minority votes in this constituency. TDP lost the elections in this constituency in the 2009 elections, Late Lal Jaan Basha’s Bashaa’s brother Jiauddin contested from this constituency for TDP. TDP is looking for a strong contestant for this constituency at present. Therefore Ali has a good chance of getting this ticket.
