Superstar Rajnikanth’s magnum opus ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ is getting for release and the fans of this matinee-idol. Meanwhile, there were certain rumours that really become a spoiler that claimed that the film’s release is delayed yet again and might get pushed somewhere later due to some financial issues. When approached Latha Rajnikanth, wife of actor, she made it clear that there is no truth in this. She has affirmed that preparations are going on to release the ion on May 9and everything will happen as planned.

The film is a multi-lingual project that will be released in various Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and many more foreign languages as well. The film is directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth with Deepika Padukone playing the female lead opposite Rajnikanth. AR Rahman has composed music and KS Ravikumar along with Madesh has handled direction supervision.
