JC Diwakar Reddy is contesting in the Rajya Sabha elections as a rebel against the Congress party. Diwakar Reddy is a senior Congress party leader. He is going against the Congress party to show that he is against the division of the state. He even got a show cause notice for criticizing Sonia Gandhi.

JC assembled the signatures of 10 MLA’s for the Rajya Sabha nomination papers. In the 10 MLA’s most of the MLA’s are from PRP who joined Congress and there are some leaders also. To be elected as a Rajya Sabha member a support of atleast 40 MLA’s is needed.

JC has already got the assurance from nearly 25 MLA’s. Some of the Seemandhra MLA’s along want to shock the Congress High Command through the Rajys Sabha elections.
