Hyderabad: four MLAs of Congress opposed the change in the alignment of the Metro Rail line in the section Assembly Lakdikapul. They said that the line will not damage the Gunpark Memorial or 100 years old buildings of the Assembly.

Lawmakers on Friday reached Gunpark monument and began to take action through the road near the building where Akashavani already established the pillars.

It is better that the government attaches to the existing line and allows L & T to continue the work, "they added.
