IKEA, the Swedish furniture retailer Home, will launch its first store in India in Hyderabad after a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the company and the government Telangana on Wednesday. 

IKEA stores have a standard layout and every location involves an investment of Rs.500-600 crore. Moreover, the backward integration of supplier linkages will have a tremendous economic impact on the state, said a statement from the office of Prime Minister Rao KC. 

Headquartered in Sweden, IKEA is one of, goods company the largest home and internationally recognizable textiles and furniture retail world. One of the first companies in India to be allowed 100 percent foreign direct investment in retail, IKEA plans to open a series of stores in the country. 

The Prime Minister suggested that representatives should be bound with IKEA in Telangana as Nirmal craftsmen, Silver Filigri and Pembarti for your furniture as added in. He also suggested that Hyderabad pearls that were once very famous should also make use of. He said that IKEA should create job opportunities for local artisans. 

The prime minister said all that IKEA wants to sell must be from the state. Rao said the Telangana government every support and help extend IKEA to be treated as an industry incentives from the central government.
