IT major Microsoft sees a bright future for Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh Government announced its intention to make it an ideal place for investors in IT, pharmaceuticals, R & D destination, e-groups and other sectors. 

In an interview to The Hindu here on Thursday Managing Microsoft Development Center India (MSIDC) director Anil Bhansali said that the evolution of Visakhapatnam for some time before announcing his future plans. 

When asked if they had plans to establish a campus in Visakhapatnam, responded that "not immediately. Let's wait a while." 

Earlier, CII Vizag committee chief IT zone and CEO O. Naresh Kumar Symbiosys Technologies informed about plans for the development of IT Investment Region and bring in large IT players by building iconic towers transform the city , one of the major IT hubs in the country. To a question, Mr. Bhansali said his goal would be to take Mobile 'first cloud first' mantra to their partners. The priority would be cloud computing, big data, mobility devices, enterprise social software and sales and marketing. He said he had six entities in India that includes MSIDC, Microsoft India Sales Marketing and Services Group, Microsoft Research India, Microsoft Global Delivery India, Microsoft IT India and Global Technology Support Center Microsoft full representation of the product life cycle of Microsoft. 

Mr Bhansali refused to specify their volume of business and business expansion plans, saying they were doing very well. He established MSIDC Gachibowli in Hyderabad in 1998 with 20 employees now had a workforce of more than 2,000 due to the close collaboration with product engineering teams of Microsoft Corporation headquarters in Redmond. "The Hyderabad center has it become one of the largest development centers of Microsoft outside the United States," he said.
