Even as the state is measuring the damage caused by Cyclone Helen last week, a new and potentially more serious storm is looming on the horizon. If the cyclone, titled Lehar, follows the forecast, it will cross the AP coast between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam around noon on Thursday, November 28.Cyclone Lehar currently lies over the Andaman Sea and is expected to cross the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, close to Port Blair. It would then emerge into the southeast Bay and intensify into a severe cyclonic storm before hitting the AP coast.
