It is almost confirmed that Ananthapuram District Ex- Minister Shailajanath will be joining TDP. Shailajanath was till recently the Vice President of the Jaisamaikyandhra Party founded by the Ex-Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

It is almost finalized that Shailajanath will leave the Jaisamaikyandhra Party. Shailajanath recently went to America for some treatment and was back on Monday.

He is now speaking as though he is not a part of the Jaisamaikyandhra party.

He said that he will discuss with the public and decide and declare on Thursday which party he will be joining. He said that he will be joining the party which works towards the development of the Telugu people.

It is known that he has already discussed the possibility of joining TDP with the mediators.

In 2009 Shailajanath won from the Singanamala constituency against Shamanthakamani of TDP. At present she is an MLC. It is rumored that he would be given a seat in the Telugu Desam Party.
