Rajahmundry: Andhra Pradesh government will provide housing for the poor and SC / ST in the state at subsidized rates, Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnudu here said Thursday. 

"The government aims to eradicate poverty in the state. Going to provide housing for the poor and people belonging to the SC and ST categories to Rs 1 to 1.50 lakh soon," said Ramkrishnudu a role in AV Nagaram village in East Godavari district. 

"The government will spend Rs 5,400 crore in revised next ten months, regardless of financial constraints inherited Telangana post bifurcation to create pensions," said the minister. 

He also reiterated the government's promise to grant waiver TDP loans to farmers in the state.
