Hyderabad: Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao Telangana minister on Friday demanded special status to Telangana also. He made ​​this claim when the president and members of the 14th Finance Commission met KCR Friday. 

Seeking financial assistance for various programs, KCR also demanded special status to new Telangana state carved out for development. 

TRS leaders also explained the importance of various programs including Haritha Haram, Intensive Household Survey, Hyderabad Safe & Smart City etc before the 14th Finance Commission. 

KCR is all set to host the dinner at Falaknuma Palace on September 19 in honor of the members of the Finance Committee.
