Hyderabad: Government of Singapore is willing to work with Andhra Pradesh in the industrial development efforts and infrastructure capital, a delegation from that country town, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said Monday.
The delegation, led by former Prime Minister of Singapore, Goh Chok Tong, asked Prime Minister who informed them about the government's plans to transform Andhra Pradesh into a logistics and manufacturing center, said an official statement.
"They (the members of the delegation) were informed about the state plan of ports, airports, roads and industrial nodes in Vizag-Chennai and Bangalore Chennai-runners industrial, petrochemical corridor, smart cities and tourism promotion," the statement said .
The delegation offered to share its experience in the design of the new capital city and also to encourage Singapore-based companies to participate in various ports, airports, industrial and tourism projects in the state.
They suggested that the Chief Minister that the funds could be used by the proposed Investment Bank (AIIb), to be established with China, Singapore and other countries like India, as founding members, said Asian Infrastructure.
The delegation also extended an invitation to Prime Minister to visit Singapore.
