Hyderabad: Indicating that although it is an opportune time to present the budget, Finance Minister of the State of Telangana Etela Rajender said that the budget has created trust between people.
In response to the discussion on the budget on Friday in the Legislature, Etela said that the State Government has prepared the budget with global knowledge. He said the chief minister has conducted review meetings with officials from all departments before preparing the budget. He said that the need for the Government to go for loans not pose as Rs.301 crores is surplus revenue in the budget. It's not right on the part of the opposition to criticize the government stating that the budget is not on scientific lines, he said, adding that "opposition parties should have praised the efforts of the government."
He said the government decided to provide drinking water to every home, completing project gird water. The situation in the slums of the city of Hyderabad is very pathetic and the government will improve the condition of 'NaLAS' soon. The Government is firm in the transformation of the city as a city-free marginal neighborhood and awarded Rs 500 crore for drinking water facility in Hyderabad, said, adding that Hyderabad is the city of IT and Pharma City.
He said the Government will develop the roads throughout the state with Rs 10,000 crore. He said the government will not remain silent taking applications. Now the government stepped out 25 percent of the loans of farmers, he said, recalling that the Government announced earlier that waive loans in three phases.
Making it clear that the government stuck to the 'Golden Telangana', Etela said there is adequate by opposition parties to say that the budget speech was written by the "leader" and read by 'reader'.
Affirming that the Government give white ration card for every poor family, Etela said the government will distribute six kilos of rice to each family member. He said the previous government allocated Rs.1000 crores in the State of the States, but the government has allocated Rs.4000 crore TRS old scheme pension age 'Asara'. Making it clear that the land allocation scheme is a normal, Etela said the government Rs.1000 crores allocated to the scheme. He said the Government allocated Rs.9000 crores for the development of tanks to improve the level of groundwater.
Alleging that the TDP and Congress parties are the reason for the suicides of farmers in the state, said that nothing was done to Telangana and Pothireddypadu, Polavaram and Pulichintala stood at the expense of farmers in Telangana during his regime.
Find fault with opposition parties to criticize the Government TRS in energy crisis, Etela said the crisis of power in Telangana because of previous governments. Said thermal power projects built by previous governments "in the Seemandhra region although coal and water is available in the Telangana region.
Action plan for jobs
He said the Government will establish Telangana Civil Service Commission (TSPSC) very soon. Job notifications will be issued immediately after the appointment of the President of the TSPSC. He said the government is preparing an action plan for students of OU, KU, PU, TU and MGU who participated in the movement to jobs. He made it clear that the Government has a clear foresight with regard to employment and added that government decisions work toward the opposition parties.
Affirming that population growth is not the reason for the lack of development, the finance minister said there is need to develop human resources in a proper way. He assured the students of neglect indicating that the Government will provide a job that gives them special training in Hyderabad.
