Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao Telangana has said the Medak Lok Sabha byelection result was an endorsement of his government functioning during the first 100 days.
An elated reporters in Hyderabad on Tuesday, chief minister after the result was announced it could not be called a referendum on his government, as he had done little in the past three months.
"KCR and TRS brand of government has not yet started because the government is still formulating policies to transform the Golden State into Telangana (Bangaru Telangana)," he said.
Reiterating his government will fulfill all electoral promises, advised the opposition parties to be constructive after biting the dust in the by-election.
On demand of the opposition parties "for convening the meeting of the Assembly immediately, Mr. Rao said the government was aware of its constitutional obligations. However, the Government would use the provisions of the Law relaxation of Andhra Pradesh for the 2014 Reorganization approved until December 2 budget.
Referring to the demand for holding celebrations officially Liberation Day of Hyderabad on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that no government in the past had been officially organized. The party would, however, organize celebrations to mark the occasion through the new state.
