Of Ilayathalapathy Vijay Kaththi release date of the film has been confirmed and the movie is all set to hit the theaters on October 22 worldwide. This film has bagged a clean certificate 'U' of the censor board officials. 

Kaththi is directed by AR Murugadoss while productions produced by Lyca. Interestingly, this is the seventh film of Vijay has bagged a certificate of 'U'. 

Megastar Chiranjeevi is likely to attend the presentation audio Kaththi Telugu version. The Telugu rights of this movie are acquired by Tagore Madhu. The official game Kaththi 3D was recently released and has been receiving great response from fans. 

Anirudh Ravichander composed music is already a chartbuster in Tamil version. Vijay has sung a song for 'selfie Pulla' on this album and about 100 dancers will dance along with Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Samantha. This song was shot on a special set built costing Rs 2.5 crores.
