Indicating that scrubbing financial resources is a priority now, the government of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday increased the fee of the land, besides improving the stamp duty, which comes into force on 1 December.
Sources said the government wants to clear Rs 1,500 crore to Rs 2,000 crore to improve registration fees and stamp.
According to the Government of Sudan issued by the Department of Revenue, the stamp duty was increased from 4 percent to 5 percent, while the rate of land registration increased from 0.5 percent of the market value 1 percent. The government issued new orders that previous orders issued by previous governments in 2010 and 2013 are unchanged.
