Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu Thursday invited information technology (IT) to your state, promising friendly IT ecosystem and all the support. 

At a meeting with members of the executive council of NASSCOM, the main body of the IT industry in the country, shared his vision, policy and plans and urged IT companies to explore vast opportunities in the state. 

As someone who put Hyderabad on the world map of IT as a Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh undivided for nearly a decade (1995-2004), Naidu tried to revive his old contacts. 

"They are my old friends.'ve Worked together and with your support, we reached this stage Hyderabad. Built Hyderabad step by step and brick by brick," Naidu said while claiming that he was brought Microsoft and other multinational city. 

He hoped that the cities of Andhra Pradesh, beginning with Visakhaptanam soon show rapid growth and become the most attractive and highly preferred IT destinations. 

Naidu said the state is prepared to create a benchmark in computer science, electronics and communication technology and innovation, as it is equipped with a high quality infrastructure state-of-the-art, skilled human resources, and business policies. 

"There was nothing in Hyderabad when we started," he joked when he was asked if the lack of infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh will not be an obstacle in promoting the IT sector. 

The prime minister said his government will promote the IT sector and invite investment by organizing conferences in several countries and different parts of India. "We have announced a policy and infrastructure are creating. Advance our man would come to establish their operations," Naidu said. 

Research and Technology Incubation Park (TRIP) was launched in Visakhapatnam on Sep 29, said. 

Apart from IT and enabled services, Visakhapatnam also be home electronics and hardware manufacturing, and will be a center for research, incubation and entrepreneurship said. 

He said Mahindra Satyam and Wipro have already announced plans to establish operations in the coastal city. 

NASSCOM vice B.V.R. Mohan Reddy said he held separate meetings with the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana sessions. 

While Telangana has developed the infrastructure and K. Chandrasekhar Rao Chief Minister discussed how to take it anymore, Andhra Pradesh is starting from scratch wanted to invite investment by offering various incentives. 

"We are calm. Past is past. Future looks bright. We want two states that all IT companies to come," Reddy, who believes that the people of the two states will be ultimate beneficiary said.
