Asian Paints today said it has roped in Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone to endorse their brand, Royale Play.
This is the first time the company generating revenue of Rs 127.15 million has appointed a brand ambassador to market their product, which identifies women as their target group, back in 2004.
"Deepika's style icon of modern youth of today. I think she really embodies the values that we embody through our Royale Play brand," said the president of Asian Paints Market Technology Amit Syngle.
Expressing delight of being ambassador Asian brand Paints, Padukone said, "I feel a sense of accomplishment after having signed with an iconic brand like Asian Paints. Playing Royale is a creative and fun brand designed for young people who like personalize their homes. "
