Vijayawada: Pamidi Venkatrao of Prakasam district has been elected president of the Chamber Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Tuesday.

The general meeting of the camera body elected new office bearers for the year 2014-16. The other office holders including Madhusudhana K Rao Guntur district as vice president, M Ramakrishna Reddy Krishna as general secretary, G Yadhusekhar Nayudu Chittoor as executive secretary, T Koulutlayya Kurnool, Chandramouli J K Satyanarayana Srikakulam and Vizianagaram district were elected secretaries of the camera.

The body congratulated newly elected President of the Chamber founder and former MLC Rajendra Prasad YVB and President Pamidi Venkatrao.
