Hudhud devastating cyclone has not only caused damage worth billions of rupees in Visakhapatnam but also brought huge losses to the movie industry, especially the Daggubati family.
The family owns Daggubati Ramanaidu studio on 33 acres of land in Visakha-Bheemili road from the beach, located on the top of an imposing hill, surrounded by lush green surroundings and facing the brilliant blue waters of the Bay of Bengal which opened in YS.Rajashekar late Chief Minister Reddy.
After Hudhud hit Vizag, the study has become rather dead for work, all trees in the study site have been uprooted, roofs are launched into space, glass from windows shattered, furniture smashed hopelessly twisted electric poles and shooting games including court, police station, middle class house and main floor have been severely affected.
Apart from this, Daggubati Suresh has good number of theaters in North-coastal region (Uttar Andhra) Most theaters have been severely damaged. Many of the roofs have been blown up, smashed the windows and seats have also been damaged. Theaters are unlikely to re-open in the region in the short term.
