Monaco: India on Tuesday asked Singapore to accelerate the process of responding to requests sent by the judicial investigative agencies of the country. This was conveyed by the interior minister Rajnath Singh Prime Minister of Singapore, Teo Chee Hean Deputy during a meeting in the framework of the plenary session of the Interpol.
"When considering issues of legal cooperation, the interior minister said the outstanding Letter of Request in Singapore should look at the priority," said an Interior Ministry official.

Sinha also proposed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between India and Singapore in this topic. Singapore Deputy Prime Minister while expressing his agreement with the points raised by the delegation of India, an invitation was extended to the interior minister to visit Singapore.
