The sexual harassment incident that took place in Hyderabad with the software employee Abhaya by drivers Satish, Venkateshvarulu have been sentenced to 1000 Rs fine each and 20 years of imprisonment. The day the incident took place Abhaya went to the shopping mall at 5:30 pm. At 7:30 pm when she was waiting for the bus a car came to the stop. Satish and Venkatesh were in that car. They took her to a depopulated place and raped her. Police took the help of NIA to solve the case. The case has been prosecuted for 7 months. This is the first case that has been judged under the Nirbhaya law.
