Hyderabad: As part of the initiative of the state government of Telangana to widen roads, the staff of the Department of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation undertook demolition operations in Indira Nagar near Gachibowli Hyderabad on Monday. GHMC authorities, aided by the presence of a large police force have demolished the houses using cranes and proclainers. 

With this, the locals have staged demonstration and raised slogans against the GHMC. They expressed their anger over the demolition without serving any notice. They have questioned the officials for not intimating in advance.
