Samantha is one of the few contemporary actresses who had the honor of sharing screen space with Akkineni Nageswara Rao for the Akkineni family multi-starrerManam. In a recent media interaction, Samantha revealed how she considered herself to be extremely privileged to have acted alongside the departed legend.

“Being part of Manam is a huge honor for me. I got the opportunity to share screen space with ANR garu, and he was a real inspiration. I will never forget his enthusiasm. He was sick, yet made it a point to come and finish the shoot. That was truly an eye-opener for me, his professionalism, dedication and love for cinema. He had also watched my Em Maaya Chesave and complimented me on my performance in the movie. In fact, he said that I reminded him of actress Savitri. That was a huge thing for me. I was really thrilled,” said Samantha. The actress is currently in Hyderabad shooting for Rabhasa in which she plays the female lead opposite NTR Junior.
