Khammam: Verification of card applications in the food security will crawl in Khammam district due to various reasons.So far, officials have verified 1,78,787 or 24.69 percent of applications 7 23,987. 

The state government is committed to food safety issue cards only to families with incomes below `1.5 lakh per year in rural areas and` 2 lakh in urban areas. 

Owns 7.5 acres of dry land or wet land three acres of family food security cards would. Officials have been directed to implement these rules strictly. 

According to sources, about 22,000 of the 1.78 lakh applications so far verified are not eligible for food safety cards. At the same time, the government is cautious in removing these families from the list of beneficiaries. 

The state government first wants to clarify doubts among people in connecting the health system, particularly Arogyasri, with food security card. 

Many people have requested food security card on the idea that they would ever Arogyasri benefits too. 

One official said the revenue that many public and private employees have not requested Food Security cards. However, entrepreneurs and farmers whose income and land is more than the norm have.
