Vijayawada is stated to be the temporary capital for Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly, this government is not conducting Independence Day events in Vijayawada. Generally, states will conduct Independence Day celebrations in their own capitals.

In Andhra Pradesh, instead of Vijayawada, this event is being conducted in Kurnool. With this, new confusion raised in the hearts of the people in the state. “Is it Vijayawada or Kurnool, the capital for residual Andhra Pradesh?” is the main doubt.

Even though Chandra Babu Naidu government declared temporary capital, it is stated to be just for the namesake. As they may get issues in Hyderabad, TDP government might have routed the entire team to Vijayawada. “Will Chandra Babu and his team finalize Vijayawada or will  they go for Kurnool?” is still a hot topic.
