Nizamabad MP K Kavitha's remarks on Jammu and Kashmir invited more troubles for her.
Karunasagar, an advocate and BJP activist, filed a petition in Nampally criminal court seeking action against Kavitha under section 124-A and 153-B and 505 of Indian Penal Code. Claiming that the comments of MP in her recent interview has caused him mental agony, The petitioner alleged MP's statement was historically incorrect and against the spirit of the citizen of the country.
Speaking to a daily, Kavitha said some portions of Kashmir belongs to Pakistan. She opined both the rival countries have to draw new boundaries and move on.
The 7th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate posted the next hearing of the case to August 1st.
