Central Minister Purandareshwari said she will be contesting in the coming elections from Vishakapatnam. She announced this in an event in which she has participated.

In the past she always said the high command will take the decision. But this time she clearly said she would be contesting from Vishakapatnam.

That means she is gearing up to fight with the Rajya Sabha member Subbirami Reddy for this seat. Otherwise we never know if she has had any compromises with Subbirami Reddy.
