Chennai: It's judgment day for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Saturday as Bangalore court will issue its verdict in the case of disproportionate assets against AIADMK chief.
Jayalalithaa would be forced to resign as CM if the court finds you guilty in corruption case 18 years of age, and phrases between more than two years in prison. It would also be disqualified and banned MLA stand for election for six years after the end of his prison sentence.
While tight security is in place outside the court before the verdict Bangalore, Tamil Nadu have also been put on high alert keeping a close eye on the situation was likely to arise out of the court delivering the verdict.
The Tamil Nadu CM and his aide Sasikala, who is also a defendant in the case, is expected to reach Bangalore HAL airport before 9 am by a special plane. From the airport, reach the makeshift court in Parappana Agrahara prison complex helicopter.
Jayalalithaa has been accused of accumulating Rs 66 million rupees disproportionate wealth in relation to the known sources of his income from 1991 to 1996 in his first term as Prime Minister in the case that has seen many twists and turns and legal policies.
