A computer engineer filed a case on Nityananda Swamy in Chennai. The engineer complained that he has to get an amount of Rs 70 lakhs from nityananda swamy for advertising him.

An engineer named Sengottuvelu who resides in Tiruchengodu Veeraraaghava sengottuvelu Modaliyar Street was working for the babas bidadhi Ashram creating spiritual advertisements for the ashram. He says he did not receive any payment for the services he has provided and so he approached the police for help.

He also requested that the advertisements that he has designed for the ashram should be put on hold and should not be telecasted. He complained that four lady saints from Nityanandas ashram attacked him recently and that action should be taken on the ladies also.
