Four months since former union minister Jaswant Singh was hospitalized with severe head injury, former BJP leader remains in a coma and shows no signs of improvement in health, doctors said.
"His (Jaswant Singh) condition remains the same. He remains in a coma. The whole treatment process remains the same with a team of doctors closely watching every day," a senior doctor at the Army Hospital (Research and Referral) told IANS here.
"The medical team consists of neurosurgeons and critical care specialists. They are doing all efforts to revive Jaswant Singh," he added.
According to the doctor, Jaswant Singh is being given total parenteral nutrition (TPN), which provides nutrients intravenously when a patient can not eat on his / her account.
The leader of 76 years old was admitted to the hospital on August 8 in critical condition after his family found him lying on the floor of his home in an unconscious state.
