Hyderabad: Railway Board is committed to putting the new railway line Manoharabad-Kottapally staggered.
Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar, who along with the special representatives of the government in New Delhi Telangana S. Venugopala Chary and Ramachandrudu met with officials of the Railway Board on Wednesday, confirmed this.
Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had submitted these proposed way back in 2004, after being elected in Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency. "We met with officials of the Railway Board after long discussions and agreed to take the job," leaders said.
An interesting feature of the new railway line that will be passing through Gajwel (represented by K. Chandrasekhar Rao), Siddipet (T. Harish Rao Minister) and Sircilla (Minister KT Rama Rao). It will provide a direct rail link from Secunderabad Manoharabad through the city of Gajwel covering Karimnagar, Siddipet, Vemulavada and then reach Kottapally.
This, in a way, provide facilities train journey to many areas of Medak and Karimnagar districts, which had been discovered. Since there is already a railway line from Karimnagar to Pedapalli, introducing more services to Delhi route would be possible, Hyderabad-Kazipet untie route.
