Hyderabad: Telugu NRI brutalluy Raghunandan Yandamuri that killed 2 years old baby Shanvi became the first Indian to be awarded the death penalty in America.Raghunandan killed Satyavathi Shanvi and grandmother two years ago in her own apartment. Raghunandan committed a gruesome murder of 10 month old Saanvi and grandmother of 61-year-old Satyavathi Venna in his apartment in the King of Prussia in Pennsylvania in the USA on October22, 2012. 

Saanvi was abducted from her apartment in the United States, was killed by a friend of his parents Raghunandan Yandamuri. The case of kidnapping and brutal murder revealed a shocking truth about human greed. The accused confessed to the investigating authorities who kidnapped the boy and killed his grandmother Satyavathi Venna to bag a bailout rescue whopping USD 50 000, five months of salary Vennas. 

The case was investigated by the United States court and Yandamuri was awarded the death penalty for the murder of baby Saanvi and grandmother Satyavathi Venna during a botched attempt to kidnap the infant in King of Prussia (PA) in the decision of a court of October 2012.The sent shockwaves and the child's parents welcomed the decision.
