Many people are killed or injured in a day due to accidents in our country. A fine of just 100 rupees in many traffic violations is not inducing reluctant severity of many drivers. Modi government sets strict new rules to reduce the accident rate and death due to negligent driving. 

Under the new bill safety and road transport, if a child dies in an accident, the person responsible for it will be fined 3 lakh rupees and imprisoned for 7 years. 

Rash and negligent drivers can lose their drivers license and signal jumps more than 3 times will be Rs 15,000 fines. Drunk drivers will be fined Rs 25,000 or imprisonment for 3 months. Any school bus driver caught in drunk driving will be fined Rs 50,000 along with 3 years in prison. With all these new rules, the number of accidents can dip down to minutes before.
