Governor SC Jamir Odisha Dr, in a letter to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao Telangana, congratulated him on taking office as the first Chief Minister of the newly formed state of Telangana. 

Recalling his association in the formation of Nagaland as a state Dr Jamir mentioned in the letter that he has is happy inherent in the creation of a new State. 

The governor sent his greetings to the Chief Minister and the people of the state. He said that unprecedented opportunities await Telangana as he embarks on a new path. Expressing confidence in the Chief Minister said that the Governor under the dynamic and forward-looking management Chandrashekar Rao, a prosperous Telangana will be built to meet the hopes and aspirations of the people and the state. 

Dr Jamir said in the letter that the Chief Minister will take Telangana state at a great height in the days to come.
