Ilayathalapathy Vijay Kaththi has resulted in a huge box office hit in Tamil. Kaththi Diwali 2014 release has grossed Rs 75 Cr and brand direction Rs.100 Cr. 

The renowned Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan PowerStar remade as before movies like Khushi, Thirupachi, Love Today, happened to see the Tamil version of Kaththi yesterday [October 28]. 

As reported earlier, many producers have expressed interest in remaking AR Murugadoss directed Kaththi in Telugu. But Kaththi makers have not sold the rights, as Vijay wanted to release the dubbed version of Telugu movie Kaththi. 

Now that Pawan Kalyan is likely to remake the Telugu film to the public, the responsible Kaththi planned Kaththi Telugu movie to release on November 7. 

Samantha, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tota Roy, Sathish and others are part of Kaththi cast. Anirudh Ravichander is the musical director.
