Director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is being promoted as the most expensive films being made in India. As per references the makers are spending a whopping amount of Rs. 85 crore on visual effects alone. A source informs, “The film is a period drama set in medieval India. So the VFX team will create imaginary kingdoms, forts and palaces, apart from presenting on screen beautiful landscapes. The team will also be involved in creating various realistic action sequences, some of which involve animals.”

Producer Shobu Yarlagadda says, “Baahubali is an ambitious project, and we’re attempting to make it the most spectacular film ever in Indian cinema.
