Now, a source in the know tells us that the ace director has decided to do an action entertainer; and he is in talks with Prince Mahesh Babu to play the lead. The proposed project will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, and is likely to go on floors in a couple of months.

The source says, "Mani Ratnam had decided to take his time to firm up his next. He was, in fact, working on three scripts and had kept the cards close to his heart. This had given rise to speculations that he was reviving Lajjo in Bollywood and that he was doing a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual with Fahadh.

However, he has decided to do an action entertainer. Mahesh Babu has been approached for this Tamil-Telugu bilingual, which will be made on a large scale."
