Comedian Ramesh who was introduced in the Tollywood industry with the movie ‘Ala Modalaindi’ was given the name “thaagubothu Ramesh” because of his role as a drunk in the movie. After that he did a lot of roles in which he played a drunk and got lots of accolades.

Now he has got an offer to act in the Tamil industry. ‘Ala Modalaindi’ movie is being remade in Tamil with Gautham karthik as the hero and Ramesh has bagged the same role that he has played in the Telugu version of the movie. Rakul Preeth Singh is acting as the heroine in this movie.
