A complaint was registered by Kollywood heroine Mounica in Podambaakam Police station, Chennai stating that she was raped on 31^st December night. Heroine Mounica acted as a character artist, comedian in some movies in the past and now is acting as a heroine in some small budget movies. She participated in the new years party thrown by a producer. Mounica who was drunk accused of sexual assault by a producer and 2 managers. But the accused are saying that she already knew about this arrangement beforehand. Police is investigating the matter.
