The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court has asked the producer Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Lingaa' to deposit Rs 10 crore before 12 pm on Friday with
Recorder Madurai bench. Until the film was not released in the theater.
The bank division of Madras High Court on Wednesday heard a brief submitted by the director KR Ravi Rathinam requesting that the order of a single judge who rejected his claim against the release of Rajinikanth starring latest film to be released tomorrow Lingaa 'annulment. KR Ravi Rathinam The petitioner claims that his story 'Mullai Vanam 999' is really the story of 'Lingaa'.
'Lingaa' was shot mostly around the picturesque area of Jog Falls in Shimoga district of Karnataka.
The producer of the film, Rockline Venkatesh says it will comply with the court order and all sorted. States that 'Lingaa' will be released as scheduled.
The film will be released in Tamil and Telugu.
